Description

46° Parallel is the most Nordic Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced in Italy. Precisely on the shores of Lake Garda, in Trentino Alto Adige.
Our Extra virgin olive oil is naturally GREEN, a wise blend of various cultivars early picked and pressed, to increase the polyphenol content, which increases its biological value.
The olive trees grow in a special combination of Alpine and Mediterranean microclimate which protects them in a natural way. The Extra Virgin Blend Olive Oil comes from a studied combination of 3 varieties of olives: the native Casalva and the Frantoio and Leccino varieties.

Organoleptic properties

Aroma: medium fruity with appealing fresh notes reminiscent of green almond.
Flavour: balanced overall, with a distinct yet slight bitterness and strong spicy note.
Pairings: It is an ideal condiment since it does not overwhelm the flavour of foods. It goes well with Fruits, Raw Vegetables, Sauces, Lake Fish.

Expert's take: The nose is harmonious, with notes of almond, artichoke, and balsamic herbs. To the taste, it is soft with delicate tones of lettuce, celery, and almond, bitter and mildly spicy

Health Benefits

Extra Virgin Olive oil contains a high content of polyphenols, natural antioxidants, which are highly beneficial to the human body thanks to their anti-aging effect (e.g. preserving memory and sight). It is proven that consuming EVO regularly decreases blood pressure and helps digestion, therefore its consumption is highly recommended to people with pathologies related to food imbalances (e.g. diabetes, high cholesterol levels) and cardiovascular diseases (e.g. high blood pressure, heart attack).
